The UCLan energy dashboard is now live! 

A recent survey at UCLan showed that a lot of staff and students actively tried to reduce energy consumption on campus, which is fantastic!

The dashboard lets you explore UCLan’s energy consumption to see how much gas, electricity and water we use on the Preston campus, the volume of CO2 produced and how much we spend!

On the dashboard you will see a coloured map of the UCLan campus showing the status of the UCLan buildings;

Red = Warning High Consumption   Amber = Act now to reduce consumption     Green =­ Well done kWh/£ on target

(Buildings that are grey do not currently have meter reading equipment)

Each month we will try and Green a building for the Go Green Campaign!

Go Green Campaign is where we need YOUR help to turn your building green on the Energy Dashboard by reducing your energy consumption; whether by turning your monitor off at lunch times, overnights & weekends, only boiling enough water for your needs, ditching the electric heater….. we also want to hear about your efforts; email through the dashboard or tweet @uclangreenteam
