Beginning your university journey at one of our Partner Institutions is an exciting time and there's a lot to take in. Have you received your validation email? Once you’ve validated your email you will receive other important information from us including your username and password so you can access the university network. If you have any further questions please contact The <i> on 01772 89500 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will need to enrol both at your partner institution and with UCLan as soon as possible, so as not to delay any student finance or access to other university services. The online registration process should take no longer than 10 minutes and is a simple confirmation of your details. You will need your UCLan username and password to enrol. This will be sent to you one you have validated your email address.
To access UCLan facilities, you need a valid UCLan Card.
To apply for your card you need your UCLan Student ID Number, which is an 8 digit number, preceded by a letter (normally a G). Cards are posted to your address once your student record has been activated.
Your username and default password will be printed on the back of your card. If you have validated your email address you should have already received these details. If you have changed your password before receiving your UCLan Card you should continue to use your new password.
To apply for your UCLan card, please visit http://photo.uclan.ac.uk and upload a digital, passport style photo (you will need your 8 digit UCLan student ID number at hand).

If you need help and guidance on personal, financial or academic matters, your place of study will probably be your first port of call - make sure you look out for UCLan information displayed at your Partner Institution. Additionally you can use the facilities provided by Student Services at UCLan.
