The DigitMe2 project provides free consultancy to manufacturing businesses with the aim of developing the North West manufacturing sector.

UNITEplus is a free business support programme that will add value and skills to your North West-based business or organisation. UNITEplus do this by providing a university student or graduate to assist on a specific project, therefore adding skills and knowledge to the business.


MaCaW aims to assist Lancashire’s SMEs to overcome the challenges and barriers in moving towards a low carbon economic model, to both reduce their carbon burden and make cost savings to their organisation.


The UpSkilling Lancashire project supports Lancashire based SMEs to increase the skills and capability of their employees. The team assists businesses to identify, design, develop and implement work-force education and training programmes linked to the strategic needs of the business.

The Leading Lancashire project delivers leadership and management training for the Lancashire workforce. It enables people to develop their leadership and management skills through training, coaching and support.

Propeller offers business support to UCLan students, graduates and staff who are thinking of becoming self- employed or starting their own business. They provide assistance from idea development through to early start – up and business growth, with particular focus on the first three years of trading.
