Nursing Selection Events

MARCH 2020 ENTRY

Do you want to find out more about our Nursing courses, meet our friendly staff and potentially interview for a place? Our recruitment and selection events are a quick and easy way of gaining more information, asking those important questions, and having the opportunity to interview for your place on the course.

UCLan is one of the leading providers of health and social care education in the country, and with 99% of our students going on to professional employment (DLHE 2017) following their studies we can provide you with an education that will kick start your Nursing career.

We have places available on our BSc (Hons) Pre-registration Nursing courses starting March 2020. You can choose a pathway in Adult or Mental Health Nursing.

  • Saturday 23 November 2019, 10am – 2pm at the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Saturday 25 January 2020, 10am – 2pm at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Saturday 8 February 2020, 10am – 2pm at the University of Central Lancashire
  • Saturday 14 March 2020, 10am – 2pm at the University of Central Lancashire
  • Date TBC, at the Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We are also holding recruitment and selection events for our new Nursing Associate direct-entry, starting March 2020. This two-year course looks at theoretical and practical learning as well as personal and professional development.

  • Saturday 8 February 2020, 10am – 2pm at the University of Central Lancashire
  • Saturday 14 March 2020, 10am – 2pm at the University of Central Lancashire

This events will be a chance to find out more information about our Nursing courses, and undertake a formal interview on the day - should you wish to progress your application to start in March 2020. Offers will be made subject to successful interview.
