Here at the University of Central Lancashire, we want our students to excel no matter what their background, and we have a number of Scholarships and Bursaries available to support students whilst studying with us. Bursaries are awarded depending on household income, whilst Scholarships are available for a number of areas, and are based on academic excellence. Scholarships for the MBBS (Bachelor Medicine Bachelor Surgery) for UK students from the North West of England.
Students starting a new Nursing, Midwifery or Allied Health Professional course on or after 1 August 2017 may be eligible to apply for financial support from the Learning Support Fund (LSF).
The Journalism Diversity Fund awards bursaries to people from diverse backgrounds who need help funding their NCTJ journalism training.
In 2017/18 the University of Central Lancashire awarded over £1.5m in international scholarships.
We have a wide range of scholarships available to students who can demonstrate academic and personal excellence. In addition to such scholarships; and a range of international bursaries; students also receive free membership of the University Sports Centre; free English language support during their programme; free language tuition; and free airport transfer upon arrival*
The following scholarships and bursaries are NOT applicable to distance learning programmes; postgraduate research programmes; Pre-sessional English language programmes or the MBBS programme.
In any situation where a student might be eligible for two scholarships; the scholarship with the highest financial value will be awarded.
*available on advertised datesStudents who pay their tuition fees (which total in excess of £5,500) in full before or at enrolment will be entitled.
Scholarships are available to students enrolled on a NCUK programme and choose to progress to UCLan.
